We unfortunately do not offer any carry-out or shipping options on our NCT 68rfe units as they need to be installed with us to carry a warranty of any capacity. These units have specific break in procedures and install procedures that need to be performed by our ASE certified technicians. 

Warranty Information

***Not following these return intervals and required services after repairs will void warranty. ***

North Country Truck & Driveline (NCT) transmissions, engines and differentials are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship to the original purchaser/end user for a period of 24 months. This warranty shall terminate at the two year anniversary date from the time of the original invoice.

This warranty shall not cover products used in competitive events (i.e., drag racing, sled pulling) except for stage 3 units. Service should be performed on fluid after every event. 

NCT under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement at its option, subject to the provisions set forth herein, of any parts which upon examination by NCT are found to be defective. 

NCT reserves the right to determine the course of action in regard to repair and/or replacement of any and all warrantable products and/or services. Any part submitted for warranty consideration must be returned to NCT accompanied with a copy of proof of purchase (invoice), a description of the concern, and service history. Repaired or replaced products will be returned to the customer via ground shipping. All warranted parts that have been replaced become sole property of NCT.

Any labor cost incurred, including shipping charges, will be the responsibility of the customer. NCT will not pay for fluid and/ or filters. Internal electronic components in transmissions carry no warranty. 

This warranty shall not apply to any product that has been improperly installed, damaged as a result of accident or neglect, improperly repaired or altered by the owner or his agent/tech. This includes tire sizes and tuning changes without discussing with NCT prior.  Opening of differential, engine, or transmission by customer or another person not affiliated with NCT will negate warranty unless just for fluid service to be performed by another shop.

This warranty shall not apply to any products damaged due to low fluid conditions or lack of maintenance. NCT will not be liable for towing charges, travel/lodging expenses or any other claims including claims for special, indirect, or consequential damages that may arise under the provisions of this warranty.

For NCT differential rebuilds, customers must not haul trailer with vehicle for initial 500 miles break in period, each drive cycle should consist of smooth and steady 50-60mph driving with breaks every 15-30 miles to cool down system. We perform first drive cycle at our facility. Once 500 mile break in period reached normal driving may resume. Must have fluid changed by NCT 500-600 miles after repairs completed. Must perform regular fluid services every 25k miles after repairs to maintain warranty and have receipt from ASE certified shop showing it has been performed. **If brinneling or pocking is noted at initial fluid change that is indisputable evidence of abuse during break in period and will void warranty**

For NCT transmission builds Shaft breakage and hard part failure are not covered under warranty; torque converters are solely warrantied by the supplier/manufacturer, vehicle must not haul trailer for initial 500 miles break in period. Customer must return with vehicle to NCT within 500-750 miles of install for a fluid service and re-check (note: 48re units must also have band adjustment within same mileage period). Must service fluid and filters every 20-30k miles after initial post-repair service for life of transmission to maintain the warranty. At an ASE certified facility using OE spec filters/fluid. Follow operational instructions given for 68rfe.

 For NCT Engines customers must return at 500 miles for first oil/filter change and inspection at our facility. NCT Engines require oil and filter changes within 3- 5k miles each and every time at any commercial facility where oil changes are performed thereafter. Missing fluid maintenance services voids warranty as it is considered neglect of the product. Engine bearing, gasket, cylinder and or cylinder head failures caused by fuel injectors whether gas or diesel void warranty. Failure caused by fuel contamination voids warranty. Failure caused by corrupt/inferior ECM calibrations void warranty.
